About Burlington Berries
Burlington Berries is located at Burlington Farm in the beautiful agricultural hub of Cressy Tasmania. With a rich history in the horticulture industry, we specialise in growing a delicious range of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries for supply to Driscolls Australia.
Our harvest season starts in mid-October and runs through to early June with peaks from December to March. With harvest well underway, we are on the lookout for the right people to join us as Harvest Supervisors.
These are seasonal roles and we are looking for people to start in February for the second peak of fruit and finish in June depending on the harvest season.

Wages are paid per the Horticulture Award and junior rates apply.
Your next opportunity
In this role you will lead your picking team to deliver the harvest by maximising picking efficiencies, focusing on fruit quality and understanding employee experience/welfare.
Core duties:
- Coordinate daily responsibilities in line with our daily harvest strategy
- Coordinate and manage team rosters
- Monitor attendance and worker welfare
- Complete daily field estimates with Harvest Manager
- Work with your team to deliver the harvest plan
About you
We are looking for an individual who has a positive attitude and a strong willingness to develop and lead a team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has previous experience working in a customer service, education, or hospitality background.
Crucial to your success is your ability to communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds and effectively motivate and manage a team of people. You will have the ability to comprehend detailed information and have the skills to effectively convey this information to the rest of the team and the wider organisation. This role is all about people. Strong people skills and the ability to be empathetic and understanding will be the key to your success.
