About Burlington Berries
Burlington Berries is located at Burlington Farm in the beautiful agricultural hub of Cressy Tasmania. With a rich history in the horticulture industry, we specialise in growing a delicious range of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries for supply to Driscolls Australia.
Our harvest season starts in mid-October and runs through to early June with peaks from December to March. With harvest approaching we are on the lookout for the right people to join our Packhouse Team. Roles include packers, ancillary persons and stockpersons.
These are seasonal roles and generally start in October and finish in June depending on the harvest season.

Wages are paid per the Horticulture Award and junior rates apply.
The packhouse operates seven days per week and to be considered for these roles you will be rostered on for five days on, two days off each week. This may include weekend work and additional shifts.
Work hours depend on the fruit harvest quantities, and shift lengths can vary from 5 hours up to 10 hours per day.
About you
We are looking for an individuals who have demonstrated experience working in Warehousing/Packing, ideally in a food processing facility. You will be reasonably fit and healthy, as the roles on offer are often physically demanding, requiring you to spend most of your time on your feet. A willingness to work extended hours (including weekends) and the ability to work independently will also be critical to your success in this position.
This role is best described as busy; your attention to detail and consistency are key to getting the job done.
A Forklift Licence is ESSENTIAL if you’re interested in the Stockperson position.
